Client: The Future Project

As Senior Copywriter at The Future Project, I used my superpowers of brand strategy, high-impact storytelling, and passion for mentoring young people at my job every day. The Future Project is dedicated to coaching young people across the US to build the life and world they imagine. As the organization's first copywriter, I reviewed seven years of information, core beliefs, interviews, and funding documents to create a brand voice and strategy to be implemented by my team across the organization. My work included monthly newsletters, social campaigns, supporting the CEO, developing fundraising approaches with the Development team, and sharing my creative expertise with every department across the organization. I also worked with students after-school on creative writing and hosted creative events after work.

#DreamItReal Campaign - Social Rollout with Coach

To kick off The Future Project's partnership with Coach, I created a campaign roll-out that celebrated the exciting celebrity elements of Coach's #DreamItReal campaign (Selena Gomez & Michael B. Jordan) while keeping our students, their stories, and our organization's core mission front and center.

Instagram — #AdviceFromMyDreamDirector

Dream Directors are the heart and soul of our work with young people across the country. Since they can't be in EVERY school, I pitched a weekly advice series on Instagram where Dream Directors shared their wisdom with young people around the world. The series expanded into a Q&A on Instagram Stories where young people submitted questions of their own.

Instagram Campaign — #PoweredByPassion

#PoweredByPassion is a series I created for the month of April to highlight young people age 25 and under who are using their passion to change their communities. My team and I had a blast featuring young people in entertainment, fashion, community organizing, and journalism — including our students and alumni.
